Chapter 6

Rafa and Harmony were sucking eachother’s faces off when they heard the front door.
“Stop stop. Tio is here”
“How are we going to tell him?” Harmony asked.
“Just tell him that you have a 3 week break, no?”
“Do you think he’ll let me stay here?”
“Where else are you going to go?!”
Uncle Toni walked in the kitchen
“Harmony??”
“SURPRISE” she smiled and leaped up.
“Dios” Rafa rolled his eyes.
“Surprise?!?! What are you doing here?”
“I have a 3 week break from school and decided to come visit Rafa”
“Do your parents know you’re here?”
“Well my mum, no, because she’s in Puerto Rico; but my carer in France knows I’m here so everything is fine. Toni I just want to be here to support Rafa because I know how worried he is about clay” she said and Rafa pinched her ass…
“Argh…”
“Grass” he whispered.
“Er I mean Grass” she smiled. There was silence
“I’ll have to call your carers first to make sure.”
“NO!” she shouted and both Rafa and Toni looked at her with a WTF look.
“It’s just that you know…I don’t want you to err bother them” she forced a smile.
“I’m not sure if I’m comfortable with you just showing up like that and calling them would certainly make me feel better, so give me the number and if what you say is true then you have nothing to worry about, no?” he smiled and she smiled back.
“I’ll be back” she said and went to find her travel back. She looked for Sandrine’s number….
“Hello?”
“Sandrine hi, it’s Harmony”
“Harmony where the **** are you? Aurélie is really sad! She thinks it’s because of her you ran away. She hasn’t even called your mum to tell her yet..”
“Look she didn’t make me run away I just took..took a little vacation..if you will” she rolled her eyes.
“Vacation?!?! In the middle of school term?! Wasn’t it you that said you have a presentation to prepare for??”
“Look Sandrine I don’t have enough units. I need your help ok?”
“What? Are you in some kind of trouble? Is that why you..”
“Hush girl! Look I’m in London..”
“IN LONDON??!?!?”
“Shhh! I came here to see Rafa”
“Oh my god you left school to get some booty?!”
“I had to see him. Anyway I told his uncle that I have a 3 week break from school and that everyone knows I’m here”
“Oh my god”
“And he’s going to call. Sandrine I want you to be the one to answer when he calls and please…please tell him that everyone knows I’m here and It’s ok…please”
“Harmony I could get in trouble for this. Besides I don’t know if I want to help you with something that jeopardises school”
“Sandrine please please please! I’ll owe you big time”
“I don’t know” she replied. Harmony sighed and rolled her eyes..
“Ok I’ll clean mine and your side of the room for a month”
“Hmm interesting. Plus do my chores??”
“What????”
“Ok I’m not helping”
“Fine..i’ll…I’ll do it”
“Ok then I’ll help you. Man I know I’m going to regret this”
“No you won’t. Thanks again Sandrine. I ‘ll tell you when to expect the call later ok?”
“K”
“Bye
Harmony smiled and sighed of relief.

It was time. Uncle Toni was getting closer to the phone and Harmony typed a quick sms to Sandrine. It’s now. You better be near to the phone.

“Okay, I already talked to your carer. Everything is true. Sorry not believing you Harmony.”
“No problem.” She smiled but deep inside she felt bad because she was deceiving lots of people. People that liked her.
“Hmm I have to go out for a while. Behave children, I don’t want to hear any more complaints from the neighbours!”
“Claro tio!” Rafa replied with a grin. As soon as his uncle was out, he grabbed Harmony and carried her to the bedroom. They kissed like if it was their last time together. They went towards the bed and fell there.
“Wait. When is your first match?”
“Tomorrow… come here. I really missed this.”
“Then we can’t do it. It will tire you!”
“Don’t be pathetic… you know how much I longed for this moment? Not even if I had to play the final.”
“Ohh but what if…” she didn’t have time to finish what she was going to say. Rafa grabbed her face and kissed the hell out of her. She was enjoying the taste of his lips, the touch of his hands on her body again. He made her feel like a real woman. She was about to take his shirt off when they heard a noise coming from the door. Veronica was standing there, staring them, and not looking embarrassed at all.
“OMG! What are you still doing here? I thought you said you were leaving!” Harmony shouted as she covered her body with a sheet.
“Oh, sorry. I went to the toilets again, you know… oh Rafa could you help me with the zip? I think it’s stuck.” She turned her back and pointed to the zip in the back of her skirt.
“Err… sure.” Rafa looked at Harmony who wasn’t pleased at all with that situation. Veronica had something in up her sleeve and Harmony wasn’t exactly thrilled about that. Veronica was a beautiful woman and she felt threatened.
“Thank you Rafael, you’re a sweetheart and what soft hands you have there.” She said caressing his hands. Rafael didn’t know what to say, so he just stood there and nodded. Harmony got up and felt like making Veronica fly across that room. But she only gave her a ferocious look and walked out, slamming the door.

“Well done…” Harmony muttered as Rafa looked at her after winning his first round match. He felt he had played a good match and that was improving a lot more on grass which made him feel confident for the next rounds.

It was the day after his first match. He didn’t felt tired at all so he took Harmony to visit some sites. They had a great time together, just the two of them, no one else around to disturb, well at least until the media spotted them. They went to the supermarket because the fridge was empty. There was nothing left to eat in that house.
In the afternoon, Rafa went for his practice and Harmony decided to go as well. She didn’t felt safe to leave him hanging like that on the streets when there were girls like Veronica in every corner, willing to jump on him. Rafa was practicing for an hour already, Harmony was bored to death. Grass couldn’t be more boring than it looked. That was when she decided to sneak off.
